Personal statement from Kif:
I hope that after 3 years of me running Hell Catz you all have a pretty good idea of who I am and what I stand for. If you don't, here's a little summary:
- I do not care if you're White or Black, Latino or Jew, Girl or Boy, Straight or Gay. I do not even care if you are a 10-year-old or a 65-year-old.
- All I care is if you're nice and mature. Everything I value in people is neatly summarized in clan rules (that no one seems to follow, including myself).
- I made HellCatz to have a group of people to play with that I can trust. That means believing the best in people unless you have a reason to believe otherwise. And I'm very old-fashioned about trust. Once it's gone, it's gone forever.
- I have a sick sense of humor. I make bad and insensitive jokes all the time.
- I favor honorable battles. The kind they used to have in Medieval times - just going at each other with swords. Man on man. Not the kind they have now, with a cowardly drive-by barely sticking a gun out the window. I believe how you play a game says a lot about your character. It doesn't matter to me if you hack, torrent, glitch, bug or just camp, you are NOT COOL in my book and I will call you a hacker.
That being said, I like people who are active. I like people who either play with us, or participate in discussions on CatBook or are always on Ventrilo. I don't care if they are good players or are annoying at times. I trust a homo on drugs if he spends his days playing with me more than a nice kid from a private school who I get to interact with 5 minutes per month. A homo who plays with me is my homo, and a kid who I never see is just a stranger to me (and I don't trust strangers).
And last but not least, my name is Kif. Yeah everyone knows my real name, but my point is the guy you can bump into on the streets is NOT Kif. It's a different person with different goals and ambitions. I do not like people who want to blur the line between a gaming community and real life. Yes, HellCatz are like family to me. But, I also have a real family, and you don't want to meet my dad, do you?
P.S. If you are never on, lie about small things, interact with other clans more or try to get into other people's personal business - you future with HellCatz will be short-lived.

So kill3msoft (our beloved comrade for years) has the left the clan for [he claims] a few months. That means we needed someone to replace him. After a brief and misguided session of pointing fingers, I have selected the two people who wanted it the least - g3minichik and zohan. Congratulations to them!
Kill3msoft stated that he left the clan to make room for Paisley. In response to that (and to combat the outrageous 20-person limit) we will be creating a second clan (HellKatz or HellKittenz or something) to collect the over-spill of qualifying candidates etc. Consequently, we will only recruit into HellCatz from HellKatz (or HellKittenz).
